How to reach us
From Fiumicino Airport
Option A: TRAIN.
From the arrivals area of the Fiumicino Airport, go to the railway station and take a train going to Roma Termini. Trains leave every 30 minutes (at 7 and at 37 min. past the hour). Train tickets cost 14 EUR and must be purchased at the ticket office located in the train station or at the vending machines. Tickets must be stamped at the yellow or white machines on the train platform before boarding the train. This train has no intermediate stops. The duration of the trip is approximately 30 minutes. Once at the Roma Termini train station, you can walk to the conference venue (see below).
Option B: BUS.
There are several buses that leave from the airport to the Roma Termini station, leaving approximately every 30 min. The duration of the trip is approximately 1h. Tickets cost from 4 to 8 EUR. They can be bought on the spot, or for some companies, online at a discounted price. From the arrivals area, follow the signs to the buses (the bus stops are at the end of the terminal, on the right after exiting from the airport). Once at the Roma Termini train station, you can walk to the conference venue (see below).
Option C: TAXI.
Taxis are available at the international arrivals area. The cost to reach the city center is approximately 48 EUR. Note that there are two types of taxis, either from the Rome region (to which these prices refer) or from the airport region (Fiumicino), which can be slightly more expensive. You should verify the price before starting the ride.
From Ciampino Airport
Option A: BUS.
At the arrivals area of the airport you can see some bus parking spots. There is one bus run by ATRAL that travels directly to the central train station (Termini). The ticket is 3,90 EUR and can be purchased when you board the bus or at the ATRAL desk inside the airport. The duration of the trip is approximately 45 minutes (subject to traffic conditions). There are also buses available from other companies at a similar price. Once at the train station, you can walk to the conference venue (see below).
Option B: TAXI.
Taxis are available at the arrivals area. The cost to reach the city center is approximately 30 EUR.
From the train station (Termini)
You can walk from the train station to the conference venue. The walk is about 1,5 km (map). Alternatively, you can get closer by using the subway. The subway station is located below the train station. Tickets can be purchased at the vending machines or at newspaper stands inside the station. Take subway line A (the red one) in the direction of Anagnina.
Get off at Manzoni (after two stops). Follow viale Manzoni till Auditorium Antonianum at Viale Manzoni 1 right at the intersection with Via Merulana (map).
